Hello, welcome to my site! My name is Leslie Veliz and I am a writer versed in a broad range of topics. I was formerly head copywriter for a small business and a staff writer for DIG MAG, a student-run publication at California State University, Long Beach. I am able to shoot, write, and edit pieces. At DIG, I wrote stories regarding the Long Beach community, hosted a pop culture podcast, and wrote a weekly advice column called "Dig Deep". I also have a background in photojournalism, and broadcast journalism. ​

 On a personal note, I am a native Angelino that loves exploring and traveling. My writing often focuses on adventures that I find myself in. Besides writing for DIG, I have my own blog, theleslielife.com dedicated to living in Los Angeles as a broke Millennial.
